Terms of Service

Last updated June 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeddingBuddy website and app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

WeddingBuddy helps couples plan a wedding — including vendor recommendations, a checklist and budget, guest and RSVP management, sub-events and invitations, a registry, a guest-facing wedding website, and day-of planning. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content and your guests

You retain ownership of the content you add (such as wedding details, guest information, photos, and notes). You confirm that you have the right to add any personal information about other people (like your guests) and to let us process it to provide the Service. You grant us a limited license to host and use that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity; no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; and no use of the Service to send spam or to infringe others' rights.

Third-party retailers & affiliate links

The Service may link to third-party retailers and partners (for example, registry stores or a printed-invitation partner). Some of those links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no additional cost to you. Any purchase you make is a transaction between you and that retailer, governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, prices, or fulfillment.

Vendors & recommendations

Vendor recommendations are provided to help you plan, but we do not guarantee the availability, pricing, quality, or conduct of any third-party vendor. Any agreement you enter into with a vendor is between you and that vendor.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeddingBuddy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes & termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; we will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
